About

Crisp started as one bench and a shelf of other people’s amplifiers. We still work the same way. We open it up, find out what failed and tell you what it costs before we touch it. If it isn’t worth fixing, we’ll say so.

What people say

  • “Two shops told me Dad’s turntable wasn’t worth fixing. Crisp had it running in a week for under $200, and it sounds better than I remember.”
    Marcus T.
  • “They rang before doing anything, told me the amp wasn’t worth the money and showed me why. I’ve sent everyone I know there since.”
    Hannah W.
  • “Our mixer died on a Thursday and was back for Saturday’s gig. They also fixed a crackle we’d stopped noticing.”
    Joel R.
